There are a few restrictions to this system, though. Well, while you can't directly help, or be helped, by a friend, there is a way you can assist one another.Īny person you add to your friend list will be selectable to summon in one of their Support Characters to join your party. That begs the question, though, as to what the point of having a friends list even is. The sad reality is, unlike Genshin, there's no direct co-op mechanic in Honkai: Star Rail to allow you and any number of friends to join up together. The most noticeable is the art style and gacha mechanics, but what about the ability to play co-op? After you've added friends to your friends list, will this game let you actually jump in to help your friends out and explore the world together? Let's see how you can, and can't, help your friends out in Honkai: Star Rail. How to increase your Equilibrium Level in Honkai: Star RailĬoming from the same team that brought us Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail shares a lot in common with that mega-hit. How to unlock the Forgotten Hall in Honkai: Star Rail Honkai Star Rail Sunright Tea Studio Event: how to attend, rewards, and meetup details Honkai: Star Rail understands the key to making great ‘side’ content Honkai: Star Rail is available for PC, iOS, and Android. Blade is more straightforward: Just put him in and let him fight. It might be difficult to keep him alive without a healer in higher-level battles, but he hits a lot of different bases that Kafka can’t. He can slay entire waves of enemies by himself with his ability to strengthen and heal himself. If we’re talking about terms of raw damage and survivability, Blade is better than Kafka. She’s more like Serval, using her Lightning to chip away at multiple targets’ health to eliminate them faster. Unlike Silver Wolf, she doesn’t apply debuffs with the intention of waiting for a main DPS to take them out. She needs teammates to deal the majority of the damage or perhaps apply even more debuffs to amplify her strengths. That being said, Kafka isn’t a powerhouse all on her own. Her talent launches a follow-up attack that deals Shock and heavy damage based on her attack stat, which also makes her an asset at dealing damage outside of her own turn. Her skill does even more damage to enemies that already have a DoT debuff. Shock, just one of the status effects in Honkai: Star Rail, whittles away at enemies’ health more than the little purple lightning bolt icon initially lets on. Her Ultimate, Talent, and Technique all apply Shock damage to enemies. Kafka is a Nihility character, meaning she specializes in applying debuffs to enemies and causing damage to them over time.
